Scott Bergeron, founder and President at Daily Gameplan, started off his automotive career on the sales floor of a top 100 dealership in the late 1980s. "I was extremely lucky as the dealership I worked for (Phil Long Ford of Denver) had an intense focus on training, mentoring, and strict sales processes. But that's not always the case. In many stores, managers are stretched so thin that salespeople either sink or swim. When I transitioned into a sales training company, I was exposed to some major high end training, mentoring, and coaching programs that were being used in dozens of different industries. I watched the damage, and the revolving door created by the "sink or swim" mentality that still permiates our industry. The challenge isn't that dealers and managers want under performing sales teams. The real problem is that most are multi tasking so many projects that salespeople often slip through the cracks. I knew there had to be a better way, which is why I developed Daily Gameplan.

Our business planners are published and assembled right here in Denver. We're also different in the fact that we don't have any contracts with our clients. "Clients simply call us, or fill out an order form. They tell us what they need, and we automatically ship month to month, so if there needs change, they're not tied into us. If we're not helping clients sell more, we don't deserve their business."
"I'm still a very lucky man. My son, Nathan, works with me as a production manager, and my best friend, Alan Bourks, is our accounts manager. I even took our CRM experience and cloud based data programming background and built a program for my daughter, Nicole's, fire department. We called it PSTrax.com, short for public safety tracking solutions. It's essentially a Daily Gameplan for firefighters and officers to keep track of their inspection programs on their fire apparatus, equipment, and inventories. It's now being used in hundreds of fire departments in 28 states and Canada. As Joe Walsh said years ago; life's been good to me so far.''
